In Depth Guide to Reflexology Lymph Drainage Part 4

This is my first clients successes with Reflexology Lymph Drainage (with the permission of the client of course).

The client had suffered with Lymphoedema in her feet & ankles for many years, to the point where mobility was an issue. She struggled too with knee pain and was due for another operation at some point in the future. Her husband drove her everywhere and although she could go up and down stairs, she struggled and managed slowly.

Just a few days before her client was due to leave the UK she received 4 consecutive treatments of RLD over a 4-day period.

Measurements were taken before and after each treatment in order to calculate the amount of Lymph lost.

At the end of the 1st Treatment there was no significant change, but on arrival of the 2nd day measurements clearly indicated a reduction in size of the swelling.

Everyday for so long she had frustratingly worn untied trainers. On the 3rd day she arrived wearing ankle boots, pleased as punch that she could do the zip up fully on 1 boot and halfway up the other.

By day 4 however, she had slipped into a pair of pumps. Both the boots and pumps had not seen the light of day for quite some time and she was amazed that she could finally wear normal footwear.

As well as the reduction in fluid, her knee pain and flexibility also improved.

In total 91ml of excess fluid was lost & that was just above her ankles. Fluid cannot be calculated in the feet but the photos do show the visible difference. That is for sure!

Had her client started the process sooner and had the opportunity for further treatments Emma believes there would have been further reduction still.
